Another day, another black man is having to defend / explain his comments after being accused of racial slurs for celebrating his African-ness.
On #TheDailyShow, #TrevorNoah celebrated Frances #WorldCup win by celebrating the African players on the French team and joking that Africa won the World Cup. If youre familiar with Trevor, then youre familiar that he is South Africanand if youre a football fan, then youre familiar with players on the French team being of African descent.
Since then, some have dubbed Trevors comments as racist and the French Ambassador to the U.S., Gerard Araud, even wrote him a letter pretty much saying nah boo, our team is French. Go somewhere with them African comments. Whats your take on Trevors comments #Roommates?
