Oh no, no, nooo! Things have gotten really nasty between Ciara and rapper Future. The two share a son and despite that fact, Ciara chose to be petty this Monday as she refused to say her baby zaddy’s name as she announced the Billboard Awards nominees. Maybe that rubbed Future the wrong way, because it’s being reported that he is countersuing Ciara and had some pretty foul things to say about the mother of his child!!
The Jasmine Brand exclusively reports, “Future has headed to court blasting his baby mama Ciara’s $15 million dollar lawsuit accusing him of defaming her good name, with the rapper counter-suing the singer and claiming she is nothing but a washed-up singer whose career is failing and clearly sued him to generate publicity for her lackluster album sales.” They also report, “the suit said that Future knowingly made false statements in an attempt to ruin her reputation in the industry and harm her reputation and Ciara claimed his comments have indeed affected her potential professional opportunities, which she says directly relate to her involvement with children and her parenting of their son.”
If you remember, earlier this year, Ciara filed a suit against Future citing defamation and slander. She felt that he was using their breakup as a way to promote his upcoming projects. Not only that, the singer believes that Future is trying to exploit her especially pleasant relationship with fiancee, Russell Wilson. He’s been pretty vocal about how he feels with Russell being around baby Future.
I don’t know, Roommates! If you look at this at face-value, this is really sad and we hope that both parties can come to a consensus. On the flip side, I bet somebody has music coming out soon lol! Stay tuned, Roommates!
