On this episode of ‘Stepping Into The Shade Room,’ G Herbodrops in to talk about everything from his past traumas, parenting, relationship status, and past romances. More specifically, Herbo addresses cheating rumors while sharing his thoughts on marriage, social media, and which rapper he believes can out-rap him. Lastly, the rapper even spills on a few lessons learned throughout his life and career with host Thembi.
About nine minutes into the interview, Herbo confirmed that he and Taina Williams are still locked in. When asked if the couple has decided to be more private with their romance, he explained that they may have decided to “broadcast” their relationship a bit less due to the “negativity that comes behind it.”
“She pays attention to the negative comments I don’t,” he explained to Thembi.
As for his marriage plans, the rapper explained that he wants to tie the knot. As for when it will happen? He explained that he doesn’t know if he’s being too elaborate, but he “always wanted” a lavish proposal and wedding.
“I don’t know if maybe I’m waiting on that opportunity to present itself,” he said. “…My goal was to always get married in my 30s anyway. I’m 29. I guess me starting a family where I come from, that was like a form of commitment as well.”
Thirteen minutes into the interview, Thembi asked G Herbo about his previously admitting to cheating on Ari Fletcher, the mother of his eldest son, with Williams, the mother of his youngest children. Thembi then asked how he would feel if the same were done to him. Herbo replied that he would feel the same way Fletcher felt.
