Roommates, don’t y’all remember Miss Cleo? “Call me now!” as she would say in her farce of a Jamaican accent. Well, she just made a cameo in a new commercial for French Toast Crunch! The commercial was for General Mills even though the rights to the pop culture icon belong to The Psychic Readers Network! I don’t know how they didn’t see this coming, but now they’re suing General Mills for essentially stealing their product!
The tea is that GM linked their new commercial for French Toast Crunch to a segment of the classic infomercial! It’s really hilarious actually. Callers couldn’t even believe that she knew that they had a spoon! ????
Now, the shade is that the Psychic Readers Network claims that they have invested over $100 million into Miss Cleo to make her a big star, so they’re vying for some coin! They’re demanding that they receive all of the profits from the ad campaign.
Well, the good thing that comes out of this is French Toast Crunch! U.S. 90s babies have been pressed for that to come back out! Besides, roommates, Miss Cleo predicts that we’ll love it!
