It looks like ex’s Gilbert Arenas and Laura Govan may be heading back to court once again.
According to TMZ, Gilbert is suing his ex for repeating an STD claim that already cost her $110,000 last year. The former NBA-star reportedly filed a defamation lawsuit against Laura and her lawyer, Maya Shulman, after the claim was mentioned in a December blog post.
In the blog post Shulman reportedly said that Laura was “stating a fact” when she accused Gilbert of giving her an STD.
Back in September 2016, a judge ordered Laura to pay up for those very same comments. Gilbert says in the new lawsuit that Laura and her lawyer didn’t learn from the first time, and the comment from December was just another attempt to tarnish his name.
Gilbert also said that Shulman made the situation worse when she retracted her statement two weeks later in the comment section of the blog post. She said that she doesn’t “know any ‘fact’ that supports” Laura’s claims.
TMZ reached out to Shulman for a comment, but they have yet to hear back.
