Giovanna Ramos, known publicly as Gio, has the ‘net talking again after alleged messages she posted and deleted began making rounds online. The messages left many with questions as they appeared to allegedly be from rapper Playboi Carti. For some time now, many supporters have been trying to figure out whether the two are still romantically linked or officially done with each other.
On Thursday, May 7, Gio uploaded screenshots of text messages showing a contact named weirdo repeatedly blowing up her phone. The messages showed the person asking her to call them back and saying they wanted to talk.
In a follow-up post, Gio wrote, @playboicarti i keep telling you to leave me alone. She also added, mysterious nonchalant king.
Gio then continued sharing more alleged messages that appeared to show the person repeatedly asking to speak with her. In one message, the person seemingly addressed rumors involving another woman, writing, just tired of angel sh**. U won. That aint my b tho.
As the messages continued, Gio shared her alleged response, writing, had me beating your a*** for nun, while adding the caption, your favorite rapper. Another message appeared to show the person responding, Ill take that a*** whoopin. The messages also showed the person allegedly confessing their love, writing, I love you but u said f*** my mom for what???Gio later responded on her IG Story by writing, f*** the lady.
The net has been trying to put the pieces together to figure out whats going on between Gio and Playboi Carti, especially after she previously called him out back in April. At the time, Gio shared alleged messages where she told Carti he better call her before she aired him out. She also allegedly wrote that she would harass him til the day he die.
Gio even appeared to take shots at Iggy Azalea, the mother of Playboi Cartis son, after assuming the rapper was reacting to their situation online.
Fast forward to this week, photos of Playboi Carti with another woman began circulating online. After the images surfaced, Gio reposted them and wrote, ni**a always got a lollipop in his mouth. Gio later continued trolling by posting a video of herself outside with a lollipop in her mouth as well.
Fans gathered across social media as they reacted to the alleged messages between Gio and #PlayboiCarti. Some fans continued questioning the status of their relationship and where the two currently stand. Others didnt want to hear it, while some felt Gio deserves better.
