#Roommates, parents of a 6-year-old in Texas said their daughter took a dose of Tamiflu and began having hallucinations and tried to harm herself!
According to Fox 59, the little took the medicine to treat the flu.
Her parents said she started seeing things that weren’t there, and even ran out of school and did one thing that scared them half to death!
“The second story window was open, which is in her bedroom,” said her father. “She used her desk to climb up onto it, and she was about to jump out the window when my wife came up and grabbed her.”
“It can happen,” said emergency room physician Dr. Glenn Hardesty. “Less than one percent is what’s listed in the data sheet. I’ve been in practice 20 years, and I haven’t seen that particular complication.”
Her parents are now speaking out trying to warn others possible of the possible side effects. Hallucinations and delusions are listed as possible side effects on the medication so make sure you read the warning thoroughly.
