Most of us remember how stressful the college application process was; especially when it came to getting those letters of recommendation–well, for me at least, seeing as how procrastination was my worst habit!
Yara Shahidi seems to be lucky enough to not have that problem! Her application process is actually, officially goals! Y’all, she got Michelle Obama to write one of her recommendation letters!!
“She is very amazing and such a supporter, which is something very surreal to say,” Yara told W Magazine about Michelle.
Yara has reportedly already applied to numerous four-year colleges–one being Harvard, Michelle’s Alma Mater, and Malia Obama’s soon-to-be stomping grounds. We hear she plans to double major in African American studies and sociology!
