‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Jesse Williams To Play “Keisha’s” Ex-Boyfriend On ‘Power’

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Jesse Williams To Play “Keisha’s” Ex-Boyfriend On ‘Power’

#Roommates, the cast of the Starz hit series “Power” just got a little larger, thanks to a new guest star who is out for blood following the shocking murder of Keisha. It’s just been announced that “Grey’s Anatomy” star Jesse Williams has joined the cast.

According to @EntertainmentWeekly, Jesse Williams is set to play the character Kadeem, who is the formerly imprisoned ex-boyfriend of Keisha and the father of her son, Cash. As you’ll recall, in the past Keisha often mentioned her ex being in jail and not being around to help her raise Cash. However, things have changed drastically and Kadeem has showed up to find out who killed Keisha—and he’s reportedly going to team up with Tommy to get to the bottom of what happened.

In a brief description of the upcoming episode where Kadeem makes his first appearance, Tommy reportedly tells him that he may not know who killed Keisha, but “I promise you I’m going to find out who did this s**t. And I’m going to make it right.”

The last time audiences saw Keisha, she was lying in a pool of blood following being shot multiple times by her former BFF Tasha. While viewers know that Tasha pulled the trigger, no one else does—and actress Naturi Naughton (who plays Tasha) recently revealed that she is very “worried” for her character’s safety now that she has done something that could have very devastating consequences.

“Power” is delivering very impressive ratings this season, specifically the last episode, which averaged a season-high 1.38 million viewers. Viewership on the Starz App was also up over 13% and up 29% over the previous episodes.

There is no word yet on how long Jesse Williams will be sticking around as Kadeem, but it will definitely be interesting to find out.
