Halle Bailey is continuing to open up with fans as she reflects on her recent pregnancy and journey in motherhood.
On Monday, January 15, Bailey took to Instagram to share a video with fans. Additionally, the 23-year-old captioned her post, alluding that the footage was from her underwater-themed maternity photoshoot.
“missing my belly already but i obviously had to do underwater pics ” she wrote.
In the footage, Bailey donned two separate gowns.
The first appeared to be a light-colored dress made of thin material, which flowed gracefully as Bailey posed in the water, while the second seemed to be a silver ensemble that showed off Bailey’s baby bump.
Furthermore, the 23-year-old new mom appeared to add an unreleased song of hers as audio to the footage.

Social media users shared their reactions to Bailey’s shoot in The Shade Room’s comment section. Some continued to criticize the 23-year-old for showing off her pregnancy after keeping it private.

One user, @personataliy, even praised those closest to Bailey for keeping her pregnancy and the birth of her son private.
“Not one leaked photo. wow whoever is around her are truly heaven sent. She really did everything she wanted and not one messy tabloid article about it.”
As The Shade Room reviously reported, Bailey and her boyfriend, DDG, revealed the birth of their son, Halo, on January 6. At the time, the pair took to Instagram to share a photo of them holding the infant’s hand.
DDG took to YouTube a few days later to share his experience as a new dad. Additionally, he also shared unseen footage of Bailey’s baby bump and explained why they kept Halo’s birth private.
“Im a dad. Im a dad, yall. I have a son I have a baby boy. Hes a newborn he was actually born last year [but] we were just waiting on the right time to basically break the news or whatever. Its been a lot of speculation,” he said.
Since then, Bailey has taken to social media to share how her body has progressed postpartum and her fitness goals.
