Living Her Best Life? Halle Bailey Shares Her First Post Since Breakup With DDG (PHOTOS)

In the week since DDG announced their breakup, he’s gone viral several times for his related comments. Well, Halle Bailey has finally broken her silence. However, ‘The Little Mermaid’ star didn’t pop off about the split. Instead, she gave fans a glimpse of her “life lately,” which included no footage of Halo’s daddy.

Here’s What Halle Bailey Shared On Social Media

As mentioned, Halle didn’t get into the details regarding her and DDG. Instead, her photo dump on Instagram included five photos. Two of them show her and Halo surrounded by gym equipment and chilling in a pool. Another shows her posing in a mirror selfie, in the gym solo, and in the studio with a wine glass filled with a light-yellow liquid, presumably white wine. Her caption said, “Life is beautiful.” Additionally, the post had ‘Survivor’ by Destiny’s Child on it.

DDG Has Gone Viral Multiple Times Since The Breakup Announcement

As previously reported, DDG had social media in shambles after the breakup message appeared on his Instagram Stories on Oct. 3. The post suggested that it was a mutual decision after “much reflections and heartfelt conversations.” He added that the decision wasn’t “easy” but that they both “believe it’s the best path.”

“Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other. As we focus on our own individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond weve built and the beautiful moments weve shared. As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support,” DDG’s message said.

Then, on the same day as the breakup announcement, DDG released the fourth episode of his ‘No Ordinary Podcast.’ In one circulating clip, he said he’d advise his 22-year-old self to avoid a romantic commitment. He made the comment while giving his friend Jay Cinco, who was recently single, relationship advice. The social media personality shared that being in a relationship is like “having a part-time job” that requires “a lot of time and effort.”

Soon after, DDG shut down speculations that he had written and posted a shady message about the split on his Instagram Stories Close Friends. After that, he popped off on Joe Budden for accusing him of clout-chasing off of his ex-girlfriend’s name rather than making a name for himself.

Earlier this week, he also shared a message for folks trolling his breakup. The streamer said that despite what social media has to say, he and Halle will forever be family. “Its a reason why she stayed with me, its a reason why we had a child together. Its a reason why all of this happened. Me and Halle are forever family. I would Swiss cheese your granny, I dont care if shes 100. I would Swiss cheese your granny over Halle and thats just what it is. Thats called family,” he said.

A few days ago, he also clarified that he’s not dating or interested in anyone else after the end of his romance with Halle.

Most recently, the streamer shared some spicy clapbacks at a TikTok user who suggested he “trapped” Halle Bailey with their son Halo.
