Now that Baby Halo is here, Halle Bailey is remembering when she told her sister Chloe Bailey about her pregnancy.

Halle Remembers Sharing Her Pregnancy News With Chloe
During a livestream with Baby Halo, Chloe and Halle answered a fan’s question about Chloe’s reaction to Halle’s pregnancy.
Halle stated that once she and Darryl, also known as DDG, learned they were expecting, she called Chloe immediately to share the news.
“I think she didn’t believe me. She thought I was joking when I told her,” Halle said as she rocked Halo to sleep. The ‘Little Mermaid’ actress then recalled Chloe gasping on the phone, but immediately sounding excited about the big news.
Chloe agreed with Halle saying she was ecstatic from day one.
“I was so excited because you know, he’s like my baby as well. And I just really really love him. He just makes me so happy, I can’t explain it.”
During the live, Halle also shared that her family joked she would always be the first to get married and have kids, because she always talked about wanting a family.
Chloe then responded, “I think he’s like the greatest blessing. So, I’m happy. He’s like a little addition. He’s made our life more fun for sure.”

More Details On Halle’s Viral But Private Pregnancy
Towards the end of 2023, Halle Bailey had the innanet suspecting that she and DDG were expecting their first child together. However, she continuously denied the rumors and kept quiet about her pregnancy.
In January, Halle confirmed the speculations by announcing Halo’s arrival in an Instagram post. PEOPLE reports that she and DDG welcomed their son in December 2023.
While at the ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood Awards, Halle discussed her decision to keep her pregnancy private.
“With the state of the world and the place it is in with men trying to force their will on our bodies, no one on social media, and for damn sure, no one on the planet, was going to tell me what to do with my body or what to share with the world,” Halle stated.
Halle stayed firm about maintaining her privacy and choosing not to share pictures of her son until July, when she and DDG revealed his first picture on Instagram.
