Roommates, if you have a sister then you know that there is no bond like the one between sisters—and Halle Bailey just proved that in a series of tweets. Following the viral comments made by Mathew Knowles regarding her older sister Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey took to Twitter to not only show her big sis some support, but also offer a little clapback.
Social media was in a major uproar when Mathew Knowles threw an intense amount of shade at Chloe Bailey after he was interviewed and asked about the ongoing comparisons between Chloe and his daughter Beyoncé being similar artists.
In response to the question, Mathew said the following:
“Are you telling me someone is idiot enough to compare her to Beyoncé talent wise? It’s a yes or no. Are there people saying her talent is equal to Beyonce? They’re an idiot, period. That’s actually insulting to Beyoncé. If you wanted to call out Barbara Streisand or some people like that…like come on, man.”
Well Halle Bailey seemingly wasn’t going to let those comments slide and tweeted this:
“How amazing is it that @ChloeBailey is already an icon. Just popped in to say that.. i ride for my sister till the enddd okayyyy.”

Meanwhile, Chloe appears to be unbothered by Mathew’s comments and is instead living her best life on Instagram posting selfies and singing along in car videos.
