Her Father Stood Her Up For The Daddy/Daughter Dance So Her Big Brother Stepped In

TSR Positive Images: Sorry if I get some of you in your feelings on this Friday night but this story is such a sweet one. After watching her 7-year-old daughter be stood up for the second year in a row for her school’s daddy/daughter dance, Trelysia Hamerter felt helpless and heartbroken for her baby girl.

Her daughter Skylar shed tears because she had her heart set on going. “I literally felt powerless because I had a feeling that he would, but I was hoping that he wouldn’t dare pull the same stunt two years in a row,” Hamerter tells us.

Just when she thought she had lost all hope, it was what her 11-year-old son Christian did next that made them happy tears start flowing.

“My 11 year old is the one who stepped in and said that he would take her because she deserves someone keeping her word and someone to make her feel special,” Hamerter said.
