A Louisiana high school cafeteria worker has been arrested for allegedly selling “food laced with marijuana.” As reported by 25 News Today, the 45-year-old woman, named Tymetrica Cohns, was a temporary cafeteria worker at Jewel M. Sumner High School.

A Student Suspected The Worker’s Actions And Informed Authorities
Cohns was arrested on Friday. Authorities in Tangipahoa Parish revealed that they were notified of the woman’s alleged actions through a Crime Stoppers app by a student.
Tangipahoa Parish School Superintendent Melissa Stilley explained further.
I want to commend this student who saw something and used the app to bring this threat to the attention of our school officials and law enforcement.

According to the superintendent, Cohns was temporarily hired by a “staffing service,” called ESS, that “places fill-in employees within schools.”

The Temporary Cafeteria Worker Has Reportedly Been Hit With 2 Charges
According to WFAB, Tymetrica Cohns has been charged with “possession and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.” And “distribution of a controlled dangerous substance in a drug-free zone.”
Police Chief Jimmy Travis also issued a brief statement about the incident.
