‘Hit ‘Em Up Style’:Upset Girlfriend Used Her Man’s Credit Card To Leave $5,000 Tip For Waitress On A $55 Tab

When women want revenge on their men, they usually hit them where it hurts– their pockets.

A woman from #Buffalo, New York, was reportedly big mad at her boyfriend when she allegedly used his credit card to leave an overly generous tip for a waitress at a restaurant in Florida, according to Fox News.

Serina Wolfe, 24, was charged with grand theft after she put a $5,000 tip on her $55 bill at the Clear Sky Beach Cafe in Clearwater, Florida, according to police. Wolfe was reportedly upset that her boyfriend, Michael Crane, refused to buy her a return plane ticket to New York, the Tampa Bay Times reported, citing an affidavit.

Crane had placed a hold on his credit card after the two got into a fight but he later removed the hold, according to the newspaper. Wolfe then allegedly swiped that bad boy for her meal and didn’t hold back on the gratuity.

Crane said Wolfe initially denied that the hefty charge was hers and then he reported it to his credit card company. The company notified the restaurant of the charge but the eatery said that it already paid the $5,000 tip to the waitress, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

Wolfe later admitted she was the one who gave the waitress the generous tip, according to the affidavit. Crane predicted his girlfriend was either drunk or trying to get revenge on him.

It wasn’t immediately clear if there was any way he could get that money back or if the waitress will get to keep all that dough, but I’m sure sis initially celebrated at the sight of that nice payday.

Do you think the waitress should pay back the money or is it the girlfriend’s responsibility to pay her man back? Let us know your thoughts!
