If there is any person in politics that does not hold her tongue when it comes to wanting to see a change in the administration, it is definitely Nancy Pelosi. Therefore, it is no surprise that she endorsed Joe Biden for president as the 2020 election quickly approaches.
On Monday, Nancy made her official announcement in a video and said, “Today, I am proud to endorse Joe Biden for President of the United States because he will be an extraordinary President. He knows how to get the job done.”
She continued to list the reasons why she thinks Joe would make a good president and included the help he provided recovering from the 2008 recession, and his position in helping push forward the Affordable Care Act through Congress.
“Elections are about the future. Now more than ever, we need a forward-looking, battle-testing leader who will fight for the people. A president with the values, experience, and strategic thinking to bring our nation together and build a better, fair world for our children,” said Nancy.
Now ya’ll know Nancy has been very vocal about getting Donald Trump out of office. Last September, she formally announced the impeachment inquiry of Donnie and said, “He’s taken it to another level of betrayal, therefore we’re moving forward with another level of inquiry.”
Back in February, she made headlines as she was seen ripping up Trump’s “State of the Union,” speech while standing right behind him. When asked what she thought of his speech she reiterated, “I tore it up,” which was obviously a statement within itself.
