Huda Beauty Ends Their Beauty Partnership With Huda Mustafa
Huda Beauty has officially ended its partnership with ‘Love Island USA’ star Huda Mustafa after backlash erupted from the slur incident. During the live, Huda and her boyfriend Louis appeared to laugh after a caller made racist remarks toward co-star Olandria. Although Huda and Louis later denied hearing Olandria’s name and both issued apologies amid the backlash, many viewers weren’t convinced. In response, Huda Beauty released a statement addressing the controversy and reaffirming its values.
The brand wrote, “kindness and humanity are at the heart of everything we do.” Huda Beauty also stated that Huda’s actions “do not align with our values.” They described the incident as “deeply upsetting” and shared that it hurt members of their community. Additionally, the brand confirmed the partnership is over and all content featuring the reality TV star will be removed. To the brand, accountability matters and they hope the cut-off leads to change.
