An arrest has officially been made after a local Louisiana man was shot and killed in the early morning hours in Shreveport. The shooting reportedly occurred around 1AM at a Texaco gas station, in the 2600 block of Hollywood Avenue.
The suspect is rapper Hurricane Chris, legally known as Christopher Dooley. The 31-year-old claims that the shooting was solely in self-defense following an alleged struggle over his vehicle. However, local investigators were able to secure video footage of the incident—and after viewing concluded that Hurricane Chris did not act in self-defense.
Additionally, investigators also discovered that the vehicle that the victim was allegedly trying to steal did not even belong to Hurricane Chris at all. The vehicle was reportedly stolen out of Texas.

Following interviews with investigators, Hurricane Chris was officially charged with one count of second-degree murder and one count of illegal possession of stolen things.
