While speaking on the ‘3’s and Ones’ podcast, the rap legend and actor addressed Selena’s recent revelation about her five-year-old self crushing hard on him. However, Ice Cube made it clear that he wasn’t caught off guard—he’d already heard about it a long time ago.
“A lot of ‘em like me, homie,” said the ‘Friday’ actor. “What? What’s up? I heard this years ago. Look, I had my crushes too growing up.”
And, just so we know that the nostalgia is mutual, Cube added that he had a few celeb crushes of his own back in the day, including Vanity from Prince’s girl group ‘Vanity 6.’ “I had about four [crushes]” he said, keeping it real.
