Earlier today Ice-T showed up a little late to the set of “Law & Order: SVU” because he was arrested for accidentally evading a toll at the George Washington Bridge.
According to TMZ, law enforcement sources revealed that Port Authority police arrested him for toll evasion as he approached the George Washington Bridge on the New Jersey side. He tried crossing the E-ZPass lane, but his didn’t work. At the time he didn’t realize it and continued to drive his brand new McLaren sports car, but he was quickly pulled over by police.
The police discovered that the McLaren wasn’t registered, so they arrested him for evading the toll and gave him a ticket for an unregistered vehicle. He was later released by police and headed straight to the set of SVU.
Ice-T told the site, that he simply forgot to bring the E-ZPass with him; he has seven passes in his other cars but didn’t have it in his new McLaren, which was just shipped from California.
He later took to Twitter to respond to the news and said, “Cops went a little extra. Coulda just wrote a ticket in and out.. Moovin.”

He continued, “I love how people think just because I ACT like a cop on SVU I get special treatment from real cops.”
