Wayment! Iman Shumpert and Amber Rose are two names you might not expect in the same sentence, but they recently popped out to the same location! Fans of the retired NBA player and avid Donald Trump supporter are wonderingwhat’s teabetween them after they were photographed in Miami in September.
TMZ caught up with Iman nearly three weeks after he and Amber Rose soaked up some Miami sun together. Despite there being no visible intimacy between them, photos of the link-up had the internet chattin’.
At the time, one of Teyana Taylor’s friends, D’Asia Nicole, even took to social media to drag Shumpert, implying that he and Rose have had sneaky vibes for a hoit minute.
Meanwhile, both Teyana and Amber have yet to address the beach outing. However, Iman recently told TMZ that he and Rose are just friends and former co-stars from the series ‘College Hill.’
“We went to ‘College Hill’ together,” Yeah, we friends. Any other times y’all would’ve just let us eat, but I get it. Nah, that’s my peoples.”

According to photo agency MEGA, Iman and Amber Rose were soaking up some sun rays in Florida. Amber was dressed in a plunging black halterneck bathing suit paired with dark sunglasses. Meanwhile, Iman opted to go shirtless with white shorts on.
They sat next to each other in individual sunbeds placed on the sands of Miami Beach. The images show them smoking, smiling, laughing, and chatting with at least two individuals, a man and a woman.
It’s unclear if Iman and Amber are exploring a romantic connection, and the images didn’t show any signs of obvious intimacy, such as kissing or hand-holding.
However, MEGA reports that they left the beach together after spending the afternoon soaking up the sun and returned to their “swanky oceanfront hotel.”
Rose has not addressed the surfaced images. Note that they aren’t complete strangers. Aside from being in the entertainment industry, Iman and Amber were co-stars on season two of ‘College Hill: The Celebrity Edition’ at Texas Southern University.
Iman’s ex-wife, Teyana Taylor, hasn’t offered any social media commentary on the beachside link-up. As previously reported, Taylor secretly filed for divorce in January 2023 using their initials. By the end of the same year, their split became public news after Shumpert filed a motion in the proceeings using their full names. She confirmed their split in September but denied infidelity was the reason and claimed that they remained friends.
However, that tune changed by November after more paperwork in the divorce proceedings became public. Taylor detailed an “irretrievably broken” marriage plagued with alleged cruel, narcissistic behavior from Shumpert. At the time, Teyana requested privacy for her family. Shumpert responded to the leaked details in December, denying any allegations suggesting he endangered his ex-wife or their daughters, Junie and Rue.
In the months that followed, the couple seemingly threw shots at each other via legal filings. One motion by Teyana cited concern about Iman bringing another woman and the woman’s child around their daughters. Ultimately, they reportedly finalized their divorce in June.
