Diddy‘s text messages to Cassie following his 2016 assault on her have reportedly been revealed. Additionally, the music mogul’s messages were reportedly revealed during his recent appeal hearing for bail on Wednesday, September 18.
Inner City Press reporter Matthew Russell Leewas reportedly present in the courtroom during Diddy’s recent appeal hearing for bail. According to tweets shared by Lee, the hearing kicked off with U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson apparently making a case for why the 54-year-old should remain in police custody. Additionally, John began by sharing findings about Diddy’s “elaborate” freak offs.
Johnson reportedly explained that footage of the sexual encounters was used to blackmail victims. Additionally, the attorney reiterated that “six guns” were seized from Diddy’s residence, and the music mogul’s head of security has reportedly been served with a subpoena for his “role in the offense conduct.”
As the hearing continued, Johnson directed the court’s attention to Diddy’s 2016 assault on Cassie. The assault reportedly took place in March of that year in a hallway at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, California.
According to Johnson, Diddy was engaged in a freak off before the assault. Cassie was reportedly present along with a “commercial sex worker.”
As seen in the surveillance footage, Johnson noted that Cassie left the room and Diddy “stormed out” in a towel as his assault on her unfolded.
Per Lee’s tweet, Johnson explained that afterward, Cassie informed Diddy she had “crazy bruising.”
In response, Diddy texted Cassie: “Call me, the cops are here. I got six kids. Yo, please call, I am surrounded. You gonna abandon me all alone.”
As the hearing continued, Johnson reportedly explained that Diddy only admitted his abuse toward Cassie after footage surfaced of the assault.
“Yesterday it was claimed that his clothes were taken – but that’s not what happened. Why drag the victim back down the hall to the room?” Johnson reportedly added.
Ultimately, Johnson reportedly alleged that Diddy could not be taken “at his word.” The attorney reportedly reiterated that the investigation into the 54-year-old remains ongoing and “half a dozen escorts is just the tip of the iceberg of the number of escorts who have participated in these freak-offs…”
Per Lee, in response, Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, reportedly alleged that Cassie and Diddy willingly and mutually “invited” third parties into their sexual relations. Additionally, the attorney alleged that workers participated if they felt like it rather than for payment.
Ultimately, Agnifilo alleged that Diddy should have the court’s trust to be released on bond. However, the judge asserted the 54-year-old to be a danger to the public.
Social media users reacted to Diddy’s reported texts to Cassie in The Shade Room’s comment section.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Diddy’s felony charges were revealed as racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution on Tuesday, September 17.
Subsequently, a 14-page indictment was made public, revealing Diddy “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct.” Additionally, the indictment alleged the 54-year-old used his businesses as a criminal enterprise for acts of “sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”
On Tuesday, Diddy pled not guilty to the charges, and his $50 million bond request was denied, per The Shade Room.
On Wednesday, September 18, Diddy reappeared before a separate judge and had his updated bail proposal denied, per The Shade Room.
Amid the 54-year-old’s recent arrest and court appearances, Cassie has been spotted out publicly for the first time.
