In the song, Speed speaks about unity and global pride through the game of soccer. When the song dropped, Speed took to X and tagged FIFA, asking if they could make the track official. The official FIFA World Cup account responded, letting him know they would be in touch. Well, it looks like they did just that. During a recent livestream, Speed revealed that ‘World Cup’ has officially been added to the 2026 FIFA World Cup album.
iShowSpeed Celebrates RIAA Gold Certification Milestone
Just 11 days after its release, the music video had already racked up more than 46 million views on the streamer’s YouTube channel. Not only is the track pulling in millions of views, but it has also officially been certified Gold by the RIAA. To celebrate the milestone, iShowSpeed took to X and wrote: “WORLD CUP WENT GOLD THANK YOU.” With the achievement, iShowSpeed joins Kai Cenat and DDG as the only streamers to earn RIAA Gold certifications.
