Ja Rule Says He Wants To Battle 50 Cent On Instagram Live

#Roommates, it’s beyond clear by now that the decades-long feud between Ja Rule and 50 Cent is likely to never end—but Ja has a new way to settle things once and for all. While speaking to Swizz Beatz on Instagram live, Ja Rule said that he wants to go hit-for-hit with 50 Cent in an official Instagram battle and let the fans decide who wins.

During Swizz Beatz most recent Instagram live where he was talking with Fat Joe, Ja Rule joined the conversation and proposed an idea that could be very interesting to early 2000s hip hop fans. Ja suggested that he and 50 Cent should go head-to-head in a battle of hits.

Fat Joe chimed in and said that Ja wants to do this because “He loves hip-hop first and foremost. He wants to do this for the culture. Jesus Christ, Rule, you guys want the smoke for real.” Swizz then responds to Ja Rule saying “just get me the twenty,” which is referencing the 20-song limit of the IG live battles.

Acknowledging that things could take a nasty turn between the two musical enemies, Ja promised that he would behave if it actually happens—but Swizz wasn’t convinced and told him, “That sounds like a devilish behave.” Fat Joe believes that if the two agree to actually put their differences aside and do it, the battle would break the Internet and be the most talked about match-up that has happened so far. Swizz wants to make sure that things don’t get out of hand and told Ja Rule that, “We just want to make sure the intentions is where they need to be.”

It definitely seems like a longshot and definitely seems like it could turn ugly pretty quickly, but if Ja Rule and 50 Cent were to battle on IG live it would certainly put the Internet in a tremendous uproar. The question is, will it actually happen?
