Jacquees is back at is again, Roomies!
The self-proclaimed King of R&B is getting ready to release a new album, and his promo is undefeated!
Jacquees’ most recent Instagram campaign is a collection of photos in ode to one of the greatest to ever do it, the one and only Muhammed Ali.
I think it’s safe to say Jacquees was a little more than inspired by the late great, as his photos are remakes of some of Muhammed Ali’s most iconic poses.
The photos may be dope, but fans and non-fans have a lot to say about Jacquees channeling Ali for his album promo.
“You got Remix his career and become a pro boxer next huh,” one fan commented.
“He remix pictures too?” another fan wrote.
Jacquees just cannot catch a break after his spat with Ella Mai and DJ Mustard. After covering Ella Mai’s hit single ‘Trip’, Jacquees was hit with a cease and decist from Mustard, who claims Quees was trying to make money off of Ella’s hard work.
In the midst of the beef, Jacquees spoke out in an interview about his relationship  with Ella, proclaiming they were friends before the drama, and called DJ Mustard a ‘hater’.
We had the chance to catch up with DJ Mustard on Instagram live, who set the record straight, honey! According to Mustard, the beef is simply business–nothing more, nothing less.
Since then, Jacquees has been the center of an ongoing joke about his career being based on covering other artists’ music.
Regardless, Jacquees is still making hits and collaborating with some of your fav artists!
In an Instagram post, Quees releases the track list for ‘Round 2’. The 15 track project includes features from Young Thus Ty Dolls $sign, Gunna, Lil Baby, Summer Walker, Tk Kravitz, and Future.
