Jacquees recently got into some legal trouble while in Florida. Reports, including from NBC and CBS, indicate he was arrested on several charges, including DUI and battery. His mugshot had folks going OFF on social media, including with mentions of Deiondra Sanders and their son, Snow.
According to NBC Miami, Hollywood Police officials took Jacquees into custody on Sunday night (Sept. 27) in Broward County. The singer, whose real name is Rodriguez Jacquees Broadnax, got booked for DUI, resisting an officer without violence, and battery on an officer, firefighter, or EMT. He reportedly has a bond hearing scheduled for today (Sept. 28). His mugshot from the arrest is available below.
In The Shade Room’s comment section, the roommates had plenty to say about Jacquees’ Florida lockup. A few referenced the DUI charge and the singer presumably having financial stability, suggesting he could’ve called a ride share to his destination rather than drink and drive. Others in the comment section joked about Deiondra Sanders’ reaction to the arrest and what the aftermath could look like, especially involving Snow.

So why is the comment section fixated on Deiondra Sanders? Just a few weeks ago, in September, she went viral for calling out Jacquees and his mother over alleged co-parenting issues. Sanders alleged that Snow’s paternal family is intentionally preventing the child from speaking to her while he’s with them.
As the tension escalated, she released screenshots of alleged texts between her, Jacquees and others in his family. In several messages, Deiondra Sanders asks about speaking to Snow, explains her frustration with allegedly being hung up on while the child was crying. Meanwhile, the rapper, in a few clapback texts, expressed his frustration with Deiondra’s manner of coparenting. While he didn’t respond to her directly, the R&B singer hopped on Live to show himself spending time with Snow.
“Your the worst baby mama a n*gga could have,” Jacquees wrote in one message. Adding, “You act like a child you do way to f*cking much causing confusing and sh*t. Leave me the f*ck alone, call Laine.”
Amid that airing out, she also exposed an alleged DM who claimed to have spent solo time with Jac and Snow. The woman even appeared to allege she’s expecting a baby with Jacquees. Tagging her ex-fianc, Deiondra Sanders wrote, “…Tell your women to stay out my DM’s. I dont care what u got going on. Just let me have access to speak to my child once a day.”
