Here’s What Mario Previously Said About Male R&B Singers
Okay, so BOOM! Mario recently chopped it up with Cam Newton on his ‘Funky Friday’ podcast, and Cam put him in the hot seat. Cam gave a list of singers and asked if he thought they could really sing. He started with Bryson Tiller, and Mario just laughed, saying he didn’t know if Bryson could sing live. He added, “Bryson is cool, but he’s not looking for when him when it comes to vocal chops.” Then, he went on to say, “he could sing, but he can’t sang.” Mario seemed to have the same sentiments when Jacquees came up. Cam seemed a little “eh” about him, but Mario still defended him saying, he could slide on beats.
As the list went on, Mario gave props to Bobby Valentino, Trey Songz, The Weeknd, and Chris Brown for actually being able to sang. He said Omarion is “hit or miss” for him and Ray J can sing when he really wants to.
Jacquees Claps Back After Mario & Cam Newton Debate Over Who Can Really “Sang”
Chile, Jacquees wasn’t too pleased with the guys speaking on him. He seemed to peep their interview and hopped straight on X (formerly Twitter) with a response. Jacquees basically told Cam Newton and Mario to keep his name out of their mouths when he stays out the way.
“Cam Newton & Mario some h**s, keep my name out yall mouth on dat lil podcast…. I been minding my business,” the R&B singer wrote.
