Roommates, this week began with indirect comments seemingly being thrown across social media. On Monday, Jania Meshell, who shares a son with rapper NBA YoungBoy, shared two Instagram story posts about her relationship status and clubbing. Jania revealed that she was single. Then, her now ex-boyfriend and boxer Devin Haney took to his Instagram to share a few thoughts of his own.
To backtrack, Jania’s first Instagram story was a meme with a white background and black text commenting on feelings.
“After experiencing “feelings” I have decided that this just isn’t for me but thank you for the opportunity,” the post said.
Below the post’s text, Jania wrote “Single 4Life. I promise this time.” Following that meme and relationship status reveal, Jania made another story post featuring another message.
“PSA you’re not allowed to go to the club or have fun while in a relationship so if you wanna enjoy yourself it’s best you stay single,” Jania wrote with a fingers crossed emoticon at the end of the text.
Within the same time frame, Devin made two Instagram story posts with his own messages.
“Keep da streets away from me,” Devin wrote in the first post. He followed up with “I’m speaking on going out.”
Shortly afterwards, Jania took her thoughts to Twitter. In one of her tweets, she reflected on her tattoos. As you may remember, Jania recently tatted Devin’s name on her arm.
“Idk how I played myself with these stupid a** tattoos!” Jania tweeted.
A few hours later, Devin let off another thought via his Instagram story. However, the post was quickly removed.
“Should’ve known she was a bird when she asked me to b her boyfriend first,” Devin wrote with the laughing, face palm and clown emojis at the end.
Jania nor Devin tagged or mentioned each other in their cryptic posts. Still, fans on social media speculated that the ex-pair were targeting each other with the posts.
