Jasmin Lawrence and Eric Murphy dropped the big news on Saturday, Nov. 30, with a sweet joint Instagram post, but Jasmin revealed the proposal actually went down on Nov. 27. The couple shared a video of the magical moment set to Eric Benét’s ‘Spend My Life With You.’
In the footage, Jasmin and Eric enter a beautifully decorated venue with white-lit candles and rose bouquets everywhere. They walk down a rose-petal-lined path, stopping in front of a massive red heart. As the pair reaches the end of the path, Eric drops to one knee and pops the big question while Jasmin lights up with joy. Both Jasmin and Eric wore matching all-black outfits for the special occasion.
They captioned the post, “11.27.2024 We’re engaged!! God truly blessed us with a love that feels like destiny. We couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter ❤️❤️”
Eddie Murphy hasn’t commented on the big news yet, but on Saturday, Martin Lawrence reposted their engagement video on his Instagram Story.
