The allegations involve a 2023 Instagram post in which Moss claimed her then-5-year-old daughter helped her wax 24 adult clients over an 8+ hour period at her home-based business, Jazzy Body LLC. The post also claimed they earned $744, which Moss said she planned to save for her child’s future. The post went viral, sparking outrage and concern about the child’s welfare and safety.
Moss’s attorney, Blake Ballin, recently called the case “unusual and complicated,” citing ongoing Department of Children’s Services investigations and cosmetology licensing questions. He argued that while Moss’s parenting decisions may have been “questionable,” they do not rise to criminal behavior. He also emphasized that the child remains in Moss’s custody. Additionally, they served it the following Monday, February 19. Police took Moss into custody on child neglect charges, and they did not set a bond at the time.
