Jeannie Mai and Jeezy are one of the latest couples to go public, and it’s safe to say they took the web by storm!
Although the two are now Instagram official, neither parties have spoken about their relationship in public, until now!
Jeannie is back in her seat at The Real, and her relationship with Jeezy is the first topic on everybody’s mind. On the series premiere, Jeannie gets open and honest about how she and Jeezy met, how close they’ve gotten, and exactly what made her fall for him.
More specifically, Jeannie says Jeezy is more than just a man she is in a relationship with, she says he understands her in ways that nobody else ever could.
“I just got to know him In November, so he’s introspective, he’s passionate, he’s incredibly deep, he’s a visionary,” she says. “He’s a great leader, he’s an amazing servant to his community.”
But it doesn’t stop there! Jeannie gushes over her man and shocks the audience when she calls him her “equal”.
“The things that I’ve been criticized for in my past relationships ‘Jeannie you’re too deep, you think about things too much, why does everything gotta have a purpose’,” she expresses. “I’m not one for small talk I want to know why you think the way you do, and I found my equal.”
Jeannie says she and Jeezy share the same passion for wanting to get below the surface and that’s what brought them together!
She has not yet spoken of what a future could look like for them, but Jeannie says she and Jeezy relate to becoming better people for one another because of their past relationships.
Both Jeannie and Jeezy had been in relationships for 10 years prior to meeting one another, which Jeannie says was divine timing.
