The Rapper’s Reported Response To Infidelity Claims

According to US Weekly, Jeezy has not responded to Jeannie Mai’s recent court filing accusing him of infidelity. However, a spokesperson for the 46-year-old rapper shared a statement with the outlet on Saturday, December 2.

“Any claim of infidelity on Mr. Jenkins’ behalf are 100 percent false and we have no further statements at this time,” the statement reads.

More Details Regarding Jeannie Mai’s Allegations Against Jeezy & Divorce Response

As The Shade Room previously reported, Mai’s response to the rapper’s divorce filing strived to “add other grounds for divorce.”

“Wife reserves the right to amend this counterclaim to add other grounds for divorce, but which Wife does not wish to specify herein at this time in the hope this matter can be resolved without having to disclose such conduct publicly,” the document reads, per TMZ.

Furthermore, Mai’s response accused the “Put On” rapper of being unfaithful during their marriage. However, the documents did not disclose with whom the rapper allegedly had an extramarital affair with.

Additionally, the documents also alleged that due to the couple’s prenuptial agreement, Jeezy would have to pay up for his alleged infidelity.

“Wife further shows that the Court should enforce Paragraph 8 of the Prenuptial Agreement regarding infidelity which provides, in pertinent part, that in the event that either party engages in sexual relations, an emotional relationship, or is emotionally or sexually suggestive in communication with a third party via all forms of electronic communications, including but not limited to texting, sexting, Facetiming, social media and/or Direct Messages, shall result in a significant financial penalty upon the adulterous party …” the document states.

A Brief Look Back At The Couple’s Split

As The Shade Room previously reported, Mai broke her silence almost a month after Jeezy filed for divorce. On October 11, the mother of one took to Instagram to share a photo seemingly implying that she needed to “take a break and disconnect, to heal.”

Mai then gave a television interview with Sherri Shepherd, explaining that she was leaning on her 1-year-old daughter with the rapper and God for strength after their separation.

In October, Jeezy shared an official statement regarding his and Mai’s divorce, proclaiming that he will always value their time together.

In November, Jeezy opened up about how he and Mai tried to “save” their marriage while conversing with Nia Long.
