Offset’s Viral Interview Clip With Bobbi Altholf

Host of ‘The Really Good Podcast’ Bobbi Althoff released a clip of her upcoming sitdown with Offset on Monday evening. In the now-viral clip, Offset asks Althoff what she does for a living.

The host explains to Offset that she interviews people because she wants “to get to know them.” Offset then asked Althoff why she wanted to get to know him.

“Um, I didn’t,” the host responds. “Your team reached out to mine.”

Offset replies, explaining that Althoff’s reasoning is “cap” or false.

“Let’s not cap about that — let’s not flex for the ‘gram,” the rapper responded, referring to Instagram. “Uh-oh, C-A-P.”

As the interview continued, Althoff explained that she “honestly” did not know how the interview with the rapper “came about.”

“I honestly do not know how this interview came about,” she explained. “I’m not gonna lie to you.”

Offset calmly responded, “Me either.”

“Okay, my team could have reached out to yours; I’m not going to make you look bad,” Altholf seemingly conceded.

However, Offset had his own perspective regarding how his interview with Althoff came about.

“They had to show me who Bobbi was; I thought they was talking about Bobby Boucher,” the rapper explained, seemingly firing back at Althoff.

Althoff then responded by explaining she had “never heard of Offset.”

“I Googled you on the way here, and I read something about you,” Althoff explained.

Offset then fired back by explaining that he also Googled Althoff. However, no information was provided on her there. So, he ultimately had to take his inquiry to TikTok.

“Google’s not there yet, you’re not there yet,” Offset explained. “But you’ll be there.”

“About time, cause character or not- She’s capitalizing like crazy off the hip hop culture & ion like it. Meanwhile there’s black deserving people like @funnymarco who they haven’t sat with..”
Afterward, Hill further shared her thoughts on the sitdown on X, formerly known as Twitter. The sports journalist explained that she didn’t find the clip of Offset’s interview with Althoff “enjoyable.”  Instead, she says it “sadly points out how real hip hop journalism has been practically erased.”
Additionally, Hill shared her opinion, explaining that “media teams… aren’t interested” in having their clients sit down with “credible” people who are interested in telling their stories and giving “quality interviews.”

Additionally, Hill explained that Offset “could sit down with anybody and people will be watching.”
