Jennifer Hudson has definitely been on fire lately. Following her remarkable tribute to Prince at this years BET Awards, it was announced that the songstress signed a new record deal with Epic Records.
It seems with everything going great musically, things are about get better when it comes herfilmcareer.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Oscar-winning actresssigned on to bein Adam Sandlers next Netflix film, Sandy Wexler. This is the third out of a four-movie deal between Sandlers “Happy Madison Productions” and Netflix.
Set in the 1990s, Hudson will be playing the role of Courtney Clarke, a singer discovered by a talent agent played by Sandler.
The film will start shooting in Los Angeles on August 2nd and will release on Netflix in 2017.
