Jeremih Talks About His Near-Death Experience With COVID-19

Last month it was revealed that Jeremih was fighting for his life in ICU as he battled a severe case of COVID-19. Thankfully, he was able to pull-through, and now he is detailing his near-death experience with the virus.

He called into Sway’s Universe and talked about his experience in detail. He said, “I had a tube down my throat for about a week and a half. was really like, in a dream. I woke up two times, and all I remember seeing is a white light.”

Jeremih continued to say, “All my organs became inflamed. My heart started beating irregularly, my kidneys went out, my liver started to go bad. Mind you, I didn’t know what was going on at the time. I was out.”

As we previously reported, word that Jeremih was in need of prayers first came about when Hitmaka took to social media to ask fans to send him their prayers. It was unclear what was going at that moment, however, 50 Cent took to social media after to reveal that Jeremih had been battling COVID. Shortly after it was confirmed that Jeremih was hospitalized and on a breathing ventilator while he was being treated.

As days went by, his condition started to improve, and although he was still in need of prayers, someone from his team officially spoke out about his battle and revealed that some of his peers, such as Chance The Rapper and Diddy, were working to help him by offering their resources as they tried to get the best doctors to help treat him.

After being released earlier this month, Jeremih took to social media to share recent photos of himself as he thanked everyone for their prayers.
