Joe Biden & Donald Trump Respond To Bernie Sanders Dropping Out Of The Presidential Race

Roommates, supporters of Bernie Sanders was sadden earlier today when he officially announced that he was ending his candidacy for president. As expected, all eyes shifted to both presidential hopeful Joe Biden and current POTUS Trump for their response to the news—and their reactions tell you everything you need to know about their character.

After repeatedly losing several states during primary voting throughout the last few months, Bernie Sanders finally decided to throw in the towel for a second time, as his dreams for the White House were once again shut down.

Following the news, former Vice President Joe Biden and Trump both addressed Bernie leaving the race—and their responses couldn’t be more different.

Biden tweeted the following:

“And to Bernie’s supporters: I know that I need to earn your votes. And I know that might take time. But I want you to know that I see you, I hear you, and I understand the urgency of this moment. I hope you’ll join us. You’re more than welcome: You’re needed. I know Bernie well. He’s a good man, a great leader, and one of the most powerful voices for change in our country. And it’s hard to sum up his contributions to our politics in one, single tweet. So I won’t try to.”

Meanwhile, this is what Trump used his Twitter fingers to say:

“Bernie Sanders is OUT! Thank you to Elizabeth Warren. If not for her, Bernie would have won almost every state on Super Tuesday! This ended just like the Democrats & the DNC wanted, same as the Crooked Hillary fiasco. The Bernie people should come to the Republican Party, TRADE! Wow, Bernie is unwilling to give up his delegates, and wants more of them! What’s that all about?”

Roommates, please make sure you go out and vote this November or we will be stuck with this for another four years.
