The girls talk about creative freedom, but JT? She’s out here embodying it. The Miami rapper stepped into her bag, vision, and power for a project that left the TL gagged. Because when it comes to reinventing herself, Jatavia ain’t easing in… she’s kicking the door down. Sis came through with a cover that says “I do me,” and the TL again can’t stop talking about her looks and lips!

JT Said Her Face Card Never Declines
On Friday, JT took to social media and shared how she’s the face—and the mind—behind the first-ever digital cover of ‘CultedXO.’ For XO’s launch, the magazine handed full creative control to JT, and she delivered a concept based on her own bold message: “The story is eff how ppl view me.” In the striking cover image, JT appears with oversized, surreal lips as the camera zooms in close, highlighting her layered bra look—one neon pink, the other blue—paired with a sleek blonde hairstyle that screams futuristic glam.
Another shot shows her in the driver’s seat of a car, eyes closed, hand resting on the door, flexing fingers full of rings and a sharp black-tip French manicure. From the visuals to the direction, every detail is JT telling the world exactly who she is… on her terms.

JT’s Cover Had The TL Going Off
You already know that fans wasted no time running to The Shade Room comment section. Many praised JT for serving an absolute LEWK and calling the visuals next-level creative. Of course, others were in the comments acting brand-new, saying she could’ve “kept this mess.” But one fan put two and two together real quick, reminding everyone that JT has been clapping back at folks who joke about her lips — and this cover was the perfect response.
One Instagram user @_billionairemh said, “SOOOO GOOD! 😍🔥🔥🔥”
This Instagram user @nizha.wuzhere added, “😍Ugh just love her down 😍idc idc!“
And, Instagram user @tooreal4theinternet wrote, “Girl hang it up… flat screen“
Meanwhile, Instagram user @micheladonisho commented, “ATEEEEE🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍”
While Instagram user @krysdagoddess said, “If you don’t get this off my timeline 😂”
Finally, Instagram user @mac_sacul put two and two together saying, “She’s mocking yall who always got something to say abt her lips 🤣”
This Isn’t The Rapper’s First Clapback At Critics
Y’all know this isn’t the first time JT had to clap back at haters critiquing her appearance. Back in March, the rapper shared a minute-long video with her 1.8 million followers, pacing as she admitted she “really done got mad.” What started as a simple question about her smiley piercing quickly turned into a rant after she spotted a comment accusing her of bleaching her skin. “God damn, do yall ever talk about y’all self on this app?” she fumed. “Do y’all even care about y’all own self, or do y’all only care about people that’s doing better than y’all? Like, stop talking about me — unless it’s about music, Jesus Christ! What the hell my skin got to do with you?” Once again, JT reminded everyone that she’s here to set the record straight—and not everyone’s opinion matters.
