Roommates, it looks like Judge Greg Mathis wasn’t playing about getting his wife, Linda Reese, back.
As TSR previously shared, Linda Reese filed for divorce after 39 years of marriage in August, but Judge Mathis isn’t ready to let go just yet. He’s been putting in extra effort to save their relationship, as previously reported by The Shade Room.
On Friday, (Sept. 27), Judge Mathis posted a photo on Instagram from a family day at the Santa Monica Pier with his wife Linda and their granddaughters.
Mathis and Linda smiled together while their grandkids enjoyed the amusement park rides in the background.
“Had a great day at the Santa Monica Pier with Linda and our granddaughters, Nora and Zara,” Mathis captioned the image.
Mathis and Linda’s latest outing comes nearly a month after he told TMZ they were in “a good place” and focused on “maintaining a friendship” during their separation.
He also shared that they were still living together, and he’s been actively showing his commitment to saving their marriage.
Were still in the same house and were maintaining a friendship, and Im trying to get my wife back. I have to show her that, though. Hopefully, I can show her while were there together. And hopefully, she doesnt complete the process, but Im changing in hopes that she will,” Mathis explained.
The Roommates chimed in under The Shade Room’s Instagram post about Judge Mathis and Linda’s outing. Many were glad to see them together and praised Mathis for his efforts to save his marriage.

According to TMZ, Linda Reese filed for divorce from Judge Greg Mathis on August 22, citing irreconcilable differences and listing July 17 as their separation date.
Linda requested spousal support and asked the court to block Mathis from receiving any.
The couple shares four children together Amir, Jade, Greg Jr., and Camara.
