It looks like Judge Greg Mathis isn’t playing about winning his wife, Linda Reese back! Roomies, if y’all recall, Linda filed for divorce after 39 years of marriage in August, but Judge Mathis made it clear he had no plans of losing his honey that easy.

Did Judge Mathis & Linda Reconcile?
TMZ recently caught up with Judge Mathis and Linda Reese. When asked about their relationship, Mathis revealed that things are “going well.” That seemed to be true as the couple looked extra cozy while speaking to the outlet. In fact, Mathis even kissed Linda’s forehead during the quick chat as he shared insights on rekindling relationships.
“I think sometimes what happens in life is that God has to break you down to lift you up and put you on another [mission]. As a street kid, went to jail, came out, I was on a mission to help street youth and I have for 25 years. Now, I’m on a mission to help Black love, how about that?” Mathis said.
When TMZ asked Linda Reese if Mathis was “out of the doghouse,” they both laughed. Mathis responded, “That’s for her to say, but I think so. But I’m not going to be arrogant enough or cocky enough to speak for her.”
Asked about reconciling, Linda replied, “We’re standing here right now together,” while Judge Greg Mathis added, “It speaks for itself.”

More Details On Reese’s & Mathis’ Divorce
On August 22, Linda Reese filed for divorce from Judge Greg Mathis, citing irreconcilable differences and listing July 17 as their separation date. Reese also requested spousal support and asked the court to deny Mathis any support. Shortly after the news surfaced, TMZ caught up with Mathis, who shared that they were in a “good place” and focusing on “maintaining a friendship” during their separation.
“We’re still in the same house and we’re maintaining a friendship, and I’m trying to get my wife back. I have to show her that, though. Hopefully, I can show her while we’re there together. And hopefully, she doesn’t complete the process, but I’m changing in hopes that she will,” Mathis stated.
