Kesha didn’t get the answer she was looking for today when she lost her preliminary injunction motion at a Manhattan court.
Kesha was hoping to get out of her recording contract with Sony and music producer Dr. Luke, claiming she was raped and called a “fat f–king refrigerator.”
The pop star broke down in tears as she was told she would have to continue her business relationship with both parties. The 28-year-old, whose real name is Kesha Sebert, says Dr. Luke drugged her with with a “sober pill” and raped her after her 18th birthday.
Contractually Kesha is required to put out six more albums with Sony. Fans have been rallying for singer with “Free Kesha Now!” signs outside of the courthouse.
So far she’s gotten over 119,000 supporters online petitioning to Sony Music President Doug Morris to allow her to be free from working with Dr.Luke.
