Justin Bieber Reportedly Hit With A Lawsuit After Accidentally Driving Over A Photographer

Unfortunately for Justin Bieber, the paparazzi may have finally gotten the best of him. He is reportedly being sued by a photographer, who he accidentally ran over back in 2017, tmz reports.
Wilson is now suing Justin, claiming that he pulled out of the driveway too quickly, causing an accident that could have been prevented. In documents obtained by TMZ, Wilson says he suffered “permanent, disability, emotional damages and general damages.”
Justin was reportedly leaving a worship service in Beverly Hills when he was bombarded by photographers during his exit. He pulled away in his pick-up truck, and sadly, photographer William Wilson was in his path. Video shows Justin hitting Wilson in the knee, and he collapsed.
Justin did stay on the scene, after other photogs stopped him from completely running Wilson over. He also waited for police to arrive and take a report.
Police reportedly decided not to pursue criminal charges against Justin, stating that the accident could have been caused by camera flashes blinding him. They also said the photographer should not have been standing in the street.
“The man had very minor injuries to his leg,” Beverly Hills Police Sgt. Matthew Stout said. “Bieber stayed on scene and cooperated fully with police.”
After the accident, Wilson took to social media to share his experience from his hospital bed.
“An hour before my birthday, I get run over by Justin Bieber,” he said in a video. “He’s a good kid though and accidents happen.”
Looks like his tune has definitely changed from the day of the accident, as he is now suing for unspecified damages.
Once the incident came out in the news, Justin’s team cancelled the remainder of his concerts from his Purpose World Tour, and took to Instagram about his “soul and wellbeing”.
Since then, Justin has spoken out about being treated for depression but is living happily with his wife Hailey Baldwin.
