REPORT: Justin Combs Avoids Jail W/ Plea Deal After DUI Arrest

UPDATE: Justin Combs Reportedly Avoids Jail Time With Plea Deal Following DUI Arrest In June

Justin Combs has reportedly taken a plea deal in connection to his DUI arrest, which took place over the summer. As The Shade Room previously reported, Combs was arrested on the morning of June 4 in Los Angeles, California. The arrest occurred after he reportedly ran a red light.

At the time, Comb’s mother, Misa Hylton, seemed to call out his father, Diddy, for his flawed parenting and apparent influence on their son.

More Details Regarding Justin Combs’ Reported Plea Deal

According to legal documents reportedly obtained by The Blast, Combs has pled no contest to driving with a blood alcohol level (BAC) of “0.08% or higher.” Additionally, the outlet reported that Combs’ additional charge of “driving under the influence” has been “dismissed.”

The Blast adds that instead of jail time, Combs will reportedly serve “three years of summary probation.” According to the official County of Los Angeles Probation website, summary probation is “known as court or informal probation.” Additionally, it is “supervised by the court, not the probation department.”

Furthermore, the website cites that “if an offender’s misdemeanor probation terms requires classes, community service, counseling, etc.,” the offender will be “held accountable by the court.”

According to The Blast, Combs must enroll, participate, and “successfully complete” a three-month “licensed first-offender alcohol and other drug education and counseling program.”

More Information Regarding The Initial Arrest

As The Shade Room previously reported, Combs was arrested after running a red light around 8 a.m. on Sunday, June 4.

At the time, TMZ reported that an officer at the scene initiated a traffic stop with Combs. Then, during the traffic stop, the officer reportedly determined there was “enough probable cause” for his arrest.

“Officers conducted a traffic stop, and they observed the driver possibly under the influence of unknown alcohol or drugs,” a member of the Los Angeles Police Department told Fox News at the time. “The investigation revealed that he was under the influence.”

The outlet also reported that the incident was captured by an “eyewitness.” Furthermore, TMZ added that Combs was booked on a misdemeanor charge with his bond set at $5,000.

According to The Blast, Combs satisfied his bail and left jail “almost immediately.”

A Brief Recap Of Misa Hylton’s Comments Toward Diddy

As The Shade Room previously reported, Misa Hylton took to her Instagram Story the evening of her son’s arrest on June 4. In now-deleted posts, she explained that she is “not with none of that reality TV s**t.”

“I’m not with none of that reality TV s**t. When is enough ENOUGH? Yeah OK”

Hylton then went on to explain that she wasn’t “protecting no one anymore” and referenced Diddy’s previous single, “Act Bad.”

“I’m not protecting no one anymore Just my son… The statement ‘a fish rots from the head down’ means that, in addition to being a major contributing factor in a family organization’s success, leadership is also the root cause of its failure and demise… Act Bad???… BAD boy… I used to want to be a BAD Girl… I chose to be a QUEEN…”

In later, now-deleted posts, Hylton also referenced Diddy’s alcohol business.

“I should have kept my child with me. F**k UCLA too. Everybody. Can get it… How you go from one of the greatest to ever do it to making all your money off alcohol And suing the damn alcohol company. Sell something healthy that builds people up. I’m sick of it!!!!! NOT MINES”

Ultimately, Hylton explained that this is where the “buck stops” for her.

“Everyone has to sit around for years and act like there isn’t anything wrong With you. This where the buck stops for me… If anything every happened to my son GOD FORBID What is anyone going to say to me? When we all know who’s fault it would be.”

According to The Blast, Diddy has not publicly addressed his son’s arrest or probation. Hylton also hasn’t addressed the matter as of recently.
