Justin Timberlake had some ‘splaining to do after he was caught a few days before Thanksgiving getting friendly with his “Palmer” co-star Alisha Wainwright.
Justin took to Instagram to issue a lengthy apology to his wife and family for his behavior. To catch you Roomies up to speed, a very married Justin was spotted holding hands with Alisha and he wasn’t sporting his wedding ring either.
Justin and Alisha were in New Orleans shooting the movie “Palmer” and were not shooting at the time they were spotted together. Pictures and video surfaced of the two in an intimate setting, holding hands under a table and one picture showed Alisha’s hand on Justin’s knee.
It looks like Justin knew how bad things looked, which prompted him to address the rumors. Long story short, Justin says that nothing happened between him and Alisha but he did blame their lil’ encounter on the alcohol. You can see his apology below:
“I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people I love,” Justin Timberlake started his message. “A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgment -but let me be clear – nothing happened between me and my costar. I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that. I am incredibly proud to be working on Palmer. Looking forward to continuing to make this movie and excited for people to see it.”
