K. Michelle has been hot in the blogs this week for both her music and a whole lot of drama! During the week of the release of her sophomore album, she was accused of stealing her album artwork concept from a woman named Lady Teyanna.
In a recent interview with MuthaKnows on Power 99 fm, K. Michelle says that the accusations were absurd. In fact, she had never seen the woman before a day in her life. She explains that the concept for her album artwork was presented to her by the people from her label and she had no clue where the idea originated from.

Our friends at BallerAlert mentioned in their exclusive that Meek Mill was dating Nicki Minaj and K. Michelle leaked the story to the blogs out of revenge (K. Michelle once admitted to crushing on Meek). Supposedly, Meek offered a song to K. Michelle called “Anybody Want To Buy A Heart”, and then later snatched the same song and gave it to Nicki Minaj. K. Michelle denies the claims that she leaked anything to the blogs and says that she is amicable with Nicki & Meek. She even plans to purchase both of their albums in the future.
Our favorite part of the interview is when K. Michelle mentioned The Shade Room as one of the blogs that she respected! She talks about the time when we reached out to her and told her that she had a gift that no one can deny. We were sincere when we said it! The girl is talented! Thanks for the shout out K!
