Whew! Roommates, y’all already know last year a lot was going on between #KanyeWest and #Drake. Well after an unreleased snippet surfaced, it revealed Ye actually threw some shade at Drizzy AND J.Cole.

The snippet wasn’t long but you can clearly hear Kanye on the track taking a few jabs at both rappers. For J.Cole he said “You heard Cole on that song he was tryna hate.” A reference many people thought was a response to Cole’s #FalseProphets. Drake’s bars were a little more obvious. In the snippet Kanye says:  “I be thinkin’, what would Tupac do? / You be thinkin’ what New Kids On the Block do?” he raps. “Drizzy wearing Yeezys on the low though / Only repping Nike for promo / The company growing faster than Flo-Jo / And we did it with no logo.”

If you’ve been keeping up with the tea, last year Pusha T. dropped a bomb after he revealed that Drake had a secret baby. The REAL gag is, later Drake spilled tea of his own accusing Kanye of giving Pusha T. the information to use against him. Kanye has since gone on a twitter rant accusing Drake of not speaking up after allegations he may (or may not have) had a romantic relationship with Kim Kardashian. Allegations everyone denies, except for Drake.

Though things have certainly calmed down since, a leaked snippet may have set everything off all over again. The track is called is reportedly called ‘What Would Meek Do?’ and was going to be on Pusha T’s album, Daytona. Obviously the track was left off the album, but the entire situation definitely feels like there’s still some unresolved tension between the rappers.

No one has responded to the snippet, at least not yet. But we’ll be sure to keep you up on this tea okay!
