Looks like one of Kanye West’s tweets have gotten him in trouble with some of his fans… can’t say we didn’t see that one coming!
Anyways remember that one time when Mr.West first dropped his highly anticipated album ‘The Life Of Pablo’ on Tidal and then went on a rant saying it would never be released anywhere else? If you forgot we pulled up the tweet below:

Well those very words single handedly help raise Tidal’s subcriptions by more than 100%. So basically Tidal went from 1 million to a whopping 2.5 million subscribers who all opted to give in and pay the $9.99 monthly fee just to hear the Chicago rapper’s newest album… too bad its now streaming on Apple Music and Spotify!
One particularly pissed fan, Justin Baker-Rhett, is now taking legal action against Kanye and Tidal claiming that he was duped along with millions of others into buying a subscription for Tidal.
“We fully support the right of artists to express themselves freely and creatively, however creative freedom is not a license to mislead the public,” wrote Jay Edelson, Baker-Rhett’s attorney, in a statement. “We believe that we will be able to prove to a jury that Mr. West and Tidal tricked millions of people into subscribing to their services and that they will ultimately be held accountable for what they did.”
Baker-Rhett filed a class action lawsuit at the U.S. District Court in San Franscico where he is asking that the judge order the streaming service to delete all accounts that were created just for the sake of Kanye’s new album.
Apparently when the dusk settles Tidal will have to give back a total of $84 million! Question is will they want it back in all tens or singles?
