Last week, Kanye West was hospitalized for sleep deprivation and exhaustion the day after he cancelled the remaining dates of his Saint Pablo Tour.
Audio from the 911 call made by a man who identified himself as one of Kanye’s doctors was released Thursday.
“I think he’s definitely going to need to be hospitalized. I wouldn’t just do the police by itself.” The doctor said to the 911 dispatcher.
The dispatcher told the doctor to “keep an eye on” Kanye, and keep him away from any weapons.
“Don’t let him get any…weapons or anything like that,” the dispatcher said. “If anything changes, if he does become physically combative between now and when the police and/or paramedics get there, call us back immediately at 911.”
The LA Times reports that the full audio tape of the 911 call runs more than five minutes, however, some parts of the call were adjusted to prevent the disclosure of confidential health information.
Kanye was released from the hospital Wednesday, and he is back home and “getting some rest” with Kim and the Kids.
