Footage Shows Karen & Her Husband Speaking To Police After Being Pulled Over

Soon after her conviction, media outlets released bodycam footage of police interacting with Karen Huger. Her husband, Ray, was also there trying to explain the incident to the cops. He told the police, “I would rather her not do a lot of talking at this point, ’cause she’s probably a little bit upset…” Still, what sounded like two officers continued to question Karen about what direction she was coming from. One officer asked her, “Do you remember the accident?” and Karen Huger seemingly stared off into the distance. She turned to Ray, and he shared that someone ran her off the road, and she cosigned what he said. Then, she confirmed that she couldn’t remember what the other car looked like.

When the cop asked Karen how much she had to drink, she admitted that she was out. Then, she turned her whole body towards Ray, who said he was looking for her license. Later in the video, the cop again persists with the “how much had you had to drink” questions. She seemingly admits to having a “few beers.”
