Blueface is close to coming home, according to his mother, Karlissa Saffold. She and the rapper’s new girlfriend, Angela, recently spoke to TMZ about his expected release date. Karlissa teased the celebration she’s been planning for a year, and Angela says she’s making sure at least two of his three kids will be there to greet Daddy! The news comes amid Las Vegas also lifting its ban in a separate criminal case.

Karlissa Saffold Talks About Blueface Being Accountable For His Actions
TMZ’s street interview with Karlissa Saffold started with comments about his new look. The rapper, who was lean when he got locked up, is looking much more stocky these days. And fans have definitely taken notice! His mother confirmed that Blue put on about 70 pounds behind bars and now weighs in at 230. She said Blueface is preparing mentally and physically to come home.
“He’s doing well. He’s doing his push-ups and sit-ups and preparing to come home,” Karlissa Saffold shared. “I get to talk to him couple times a week, he talks to the kids. He’s excited about coming home and getting to work and being a dad and picking up where he left off.”
Behind the camera, the reporter asked about what environments Blueface plans to be around once free to keep him that way. His dad, Jonathan Sr., recently commented about wanting to keep him away from drugs and other not-so-positive vibes. Unlike dad though, Karlissa says there’s not anything his parents can do to stop him, but they can offer guidance and reminders.
“He’s an adult now, and we all have to accept that he’s 28 years old. Moving forward, he’s going to have to be fully accountable for his decisions. I’m going to hold him accountable. His dad is going to hold him accountable. And we know who those people are. We’ll just remind him, and he’ll have to make that decision.”

Rapper’s Release “Days Away,” Mom Says Chrisean Jr. Will Not Be There
In the interview, Karlissa Saffold said Blueface doesn’t want her to reveal his release date. However, she said he’s in the “last stretch” and “days away” from coming home. The mom said she’s so excited and has a coming-home party planned. She said she’ll pick him up with his son and daughter, whom he co-parents with Jaidyn Alexis—confirming his girlfriend rented a limo.
What about Chrisean Jr.? Saffold said Blueface’s alleged third child will not be present. She admitted that she and Chrisean Rock “haven’t come to those terms,” so she hasn’t seen the baby. Saffold also said, “Last I heard, the baby wasn’t my blood, so I kinda backed off.”
Karlissa also reacted to the footage of the hotel room trashing that Chrisean Rock was headlined in last month. She said it all “looked really bad,” including comments from Chrisean’s sister. She added that if Chrisean Jr. is her blood, she’ll step up and do the same for her son. Blueface wants to leave his relationships with his past women in the past, but be there for his kids, “110%,” his mother said. “He wants to move forward.”
Karlissa Saffold said she’s known Angela since she was in ninth grade, and that she and Blue dated for about a year in high school before Jaidyn Alexis.
Blueface’s New Girlfriend Talks About Him Coming Home
In a short TMZ interview, Angela said she reconnected with Blueface after writing him a letter, and they reconnected. Then, the reporter got right to the nitty-gritty, asking Angela how she plans to handle his co-parents, Jaidyn (whom she knows) and Chrisean Rock.
“Well, I’m not with the drama, I feel like I’m a very positive person so anything that has to do with that I’m not really into that. As far as my man, I can’t control what he does, but all I can say is bad character corrupts good people.”
As for Blueface coming home, she said she’s nervous, excited, and feels butterflies about it. She also said the rapper misses his family and his kids, and she’s encouraging him to put them first. And she said she has a few surprises for her man, her man, her man!
